Indian experts consult Hallam

Indian steel and special alloy castings manufacturer Texmo Precision Castings is seeking help from Sheffield Hallam University to open up new export opportunities.

Tamil Nadu-based Texmo, which has operations in Holbrook, is using the University Alchemy Exchange business support and consultancy, which brings together project teams of managers, academics and top g students.

Texmo employs 3,000 people worldwide with an annual turnover of £92m and exports to the US and Europe.

Alchemy project manager Nick Smith said: “Our team of top students and academics will work with Texmo.”
