PIMMS, home-made lemonade, healthy kebabs and a deluxe barbecue will all be at The Beauchief Hotel’s Diamond Jubilee party on Sunday, 2pm-8pm.

Free face-painting and a bouncy castle is lined up and The Dizzy Club will play at 5pm. Its new bar, The Cellar Door, formerly Michel’s, stages its launch party tomorrow, 5pm-8pm, with live music from Nicola Farnon.

JUBILEE cream teas and Pimms will be served outdoors at Crookes restaurant Artisan from Saturday to Tuesday.

A garden party with cocktail jugs and music from West end singer Caroline Ward kicks off jubilee fun at the Elephant and Castle, Hemingfield, Barnsley, on Saturday.

On Monday and Tuesday entertainment is planned. Book a table and get a free dessert.

TAKE a picnic to the cinema - Renishaw Hall and Gardens is staging outdoor screenings of the King’s Speech on Friday and Helen Mirren’s The Queen on Saturday.

Gates open 7.30pm, tickets are £12.

On Sunday at noon the Hall joins in The Big Jubilee Lunch Party, a nationwide event, with a feast for all ages plus artists and musicians.
