ROTHERHAM IT programming manager Edward Buttler has had a Big Idea - which has won him first place in a competition run by Hallam FM and Newburgh Engineering.

The 43-year-old has won £10,000 to develop his concept of a product that will improve the lives of people with impaired motor skills.

Edward said: “I first had the idea back in 2008, after watching my mother-in-law struggle with an everyday task. I thought there had to be a solution. I believe my idea has world market potential.”
