STAFF at a Sheffield residential home have been awarded the highest possible rating in food hygiene standards from the Environmental Health Agency.
Herries Lodge Care Home chefs’ Joanne Solway and Kay Hession were recognised for how well they run the kitchen at the home.
The rating takes into account the handling practices of food hygiene in addition to the cleanliness and layout of the kitchen facilities.
Home manager Karen Zaman said: “We are extremely proud that Joanne and Kay have received the highest possible rating for food hygiene.
“It is an amazing achievement to have been awarded this prestigious accolade.”
