THEY’VE done it again!

Peak District hotel East Lodge has been given a top accolade at a tourism awards ceremony – just months after winning another big prize in the same competition.

Last year the hotel won gold for outstanding customer service in the regional round of the Enjoy England awards for excellence, and now it has picked up the national silver award in the same category.

Staff from East Lodge were handed their newest award at a gala dinner at Birmingham University. The hotel’s win makes it one of the country’s top two establishments for customer service.

East Lodge’s managing director Iain Hardman said: “We have always known our staff are brilliant, but for it to be formally and nationally recognised in this way against such impressive competition from around the country is a truly remarkable achievement.”

The hotel is at Rowsley, on the outskirts of Bakewell, and was originally linked to nearby Haddon Hall.
