Horner Brothers, the Rotherham printing and marketing services firm, has been acquired by Sunderland-based print and document management specialist Paragon Group.

Judith Fox, managing director of Horner Brothers, said: “We are delighted to be joining the Paragon Group. Not only will this mean that we are now a part of a strong and diverse business but also our customers can access a much broader range of services, securing the future of the business in the months and years to come.”

Paragon’s general manager, Ann Harrington, said the deal supported Paragon’s strategy of increasing the range of products and services it provides to a growing network of customers.

Paragon has 16 production sites across Europe and four in the UK – at Sunderland, Accrington in Lancashire, Wakefield and, now, Rotherham.

The £137 million turnover group’s range of services include direct mail, personalisation, marketing print, stationery, point of sale, packaging, logistics and data base management.
