Foxhill Forum has been chosen to take part in the national Community Organisers scheme, and has already started the hunt for community organisers.

Community Organisers is a government funded scheme which aims to train 5,000 individuals to work in local communities bringing people together, listening to ideas, building networks, and supporting people to tackle the local issues which are important to them.

Mark Wilde, Chief Executive of Foxhill Forum said: “We’re really pleased Foxhill is going to be one of the next areas for the Community Organisers scheme. We’re looking for resourceful, outgoing people with the ability to empathise and encourage and who have a wide range of practical skills.”
