A Doncaster based company has been selected by the UK’s hub airport, Heathrow to appear in a brand new installation which is celebrating the country’s top exports.
Pegler Yorkshire is one of only 13 products on show within a cargo inspired exhibition at the airport as part of UK Trade & Investment Export Week.
Pegler Yorkshire exports plumbing and heating valves and fittings all over the world.
They have particular strong contacts with the United Arab Emirates and believe that it is due to the high standards associated with British manufacturing standards.
Phill Jackson, business development director at Pegler Yorkshire, said: “The UK is synonymous with outstanding quality and workmanship which has helped us secure strong sales across a wide range of international markets. As a result of opening up new international trade channels and transporting product around the world by air we have been able to reduce our exposure to downturns in the economy in individual markets.”
Simon Dishman, Policy and Information Officer from Doncaster Chamber, said: “It is great to see a local company featured in such an exciting exhibition. There are lots of SME’s through to larger companies in Doncaster exporting a wide range of goods all across the world. These companies represent our local area and the country on an international stage.”
