ITM Power, the Sheffield-based green energy company, is teaming up with Aberdeen City Council to open an office in Scotland.

The company announced the move after attending the UK’s largest renewable energy event, the All-Energy conference, in the Scottish city.

ITM Power chief executive, Dr Graham Cooley, said: “The Scottish renewables sector is growing at an astonishing rate with many opportunities for energy storage and clean transport fuel and this year’s All-Energy conference has been incredibly successful for ITM Power.

“ITM Power is determined to make an early commitment to Aberdeen and Scotland.”
