Sheffield Hallam University Academics have shown that freeze-dried fruit and vegetables retain their goodness.

The university’s Centre for Food Innovation worked with Hull-based Chaucer Foods to see how freeze-drying affected levels of vitamin C, antioxidants and phenolic contents of strawberries, limes, oranges, blackcurrants, broccoli and peppers.
