A new free advisory service is set to open in Rotherham helping people save money on their household bills.

Maltby’s Energy Saving Centre, set up by local residents Marvin Shillito and Michael Irwin, aims to help residents save money on utility bills including gas, electricity, mobile, landline phones and broadband.

The centre will offer homeowners impartial advice, including an initial consultation to establish individual circumstances and to see where savings can be made.

Michael said: “There are many ways to save money and lots of Government-backed help, but it can be a minefield for homeowners having the time and trying to find the right information.”
