A nutrition fair will be handing out healthy food and the latest advice next week.
The fair, now in its eighth year, is staged by final year nutrition students from Sheffield Hallam University. “We want to help people make sensible decisions about nutrition and lifestyle. If you are confused by all the conflicting advice on diets, fancy trying out different food, or finding out how to grow your own produce or how to eat healthily on a budget, come along,” say organisers.
Held at The HUBS, Paternoster Row, noon-2pm next Wednesday, April 18, the event is free and open to everyone, including families, schools, community groups and the food industry. Some 31 stalls will be offering tasting opportunities, interactive activities and information about diet, food, health and lifestyle, from ‘Totally Oats’ to ‘ACE Antioxidants’, salt awareness and portion sizing.
