A FLORIST from Sheffield is celebrating after she was picked to be the face of the city’s MADE entrepreneurial festival.

Tracey Campbell, of Campbell’s Flowers, based at Hunters Bar, was chosen by Creative Sheffield to represent the city at the annual business event.

The MADE festival took place at Sheffield City Hall in September.

The MADE festival took place at Sheffield City Hall in September.

Her photograph appeared on a banner at the entrance of City Hall and she provided 29 table decorations for the venue.

Tracey, who gave up her job in advertising and marketing to retrain as a florist, set up her business earlier this year.

She provides wedding flowers and creations for large corporate events as well as running a range of workshops.

Tracey said: “It’s a tough time to start up a business – especially given the economic climate and lack of funding.

“However, I truly believe we Brits respond pretty well to adversity and are a nation of creative thinkers.”
