The Yorkshire and North East branch of the Association of Women in Property has staged the first of a series of events in Sheffield.
The association chose Park Hill flats, the Grade II listed building which is being turned into contemporary apartments by developers, Urban Splash, as the venue for its first event.
Helen Mills, solicitor in the construction team at international law firm Kennedys, who organised the event, said: “The regional Women in Property group is very successful with many events across Yorkshire and this new local committee is about increasing the opportunities available to property and construction colleagues in Sheffield.”
The Association of Women in Property aims to improve the profile of women in the sector, by providing a forum and encouraging aspiring talent.
The second event, a networking lunch, takes place tomorrow, at Ego, on Surrey Street.
