Firms are unaware of risks

The UK’s top companies are not considering cyber risks in decision making, a new survey from the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills has revealed.

The survey of FTSE 350 firms showed only 14 per cent are regularly considering cyber threats. In Sheffield, a survey of the clients of insurance broker IFM found 65 per cent were unaware of the threat of cyber-crime and only 10 per cent had adequate protection.
