Nestlé approached Sheffield Hallam University to create a course combining academic study and relevant work experience - with the promise that graduates were guaranteed a job with a major global company.

Prof Adrian Hopgood, pro vice-chancellor and dean of Sheffield Business School at Sheffield Hallam University, said: “Industry collaborations with universities are nothing new of course, and Sheffield Hallam has a proud track record of working with Rolls-Royce, Sainsbury, Network Rail and a host of others.

“Nestlé approached us to design a course to inspire talented school and college leavers.”
