construction group JF Finnegan has won a £10.5 million contract to build a new wholesale warehouse for discount warehouse club Costco UK.

The Sheffield-based company has started work on the 140,000 sq ft facility in Hampshire, which is due to open at the end of June.

The contract is the fourth that Finnegan’s has undertaken for Costco and follows on from its completion of a Costco warehouse in Leicester, in November.

Finnegan’s managing director, Gary Smith, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded another contract by Costco UK and to strengthen our long-term working relationship with Costco and the delivery team.”
