Finance Yorkshire is boosting the amount it will lend to expanding businesses by two thirds.
The European Union funded organisation, which helps to bridge the gap between what banks will lend and what companies need, will now provide loans of up to £250,000.
Chief executive Alex McWhirter, pictured, said: “This new level of funding will provide a significant catalyst to a range of successful businesses needing finance to help them grow. Finance Yorkshire’s business loans have been extremely popular. This extension will enhance the financial support available even further and provide a much-needed shot in the arm for the regional economy.”
