Ross Bray has been appointed head of technology at Sheffield Internet service provider ASK4.
Mr Bray was previously chief operating officer with the company, which is the UK’s leading supplier of managed internet services to student halls of residence and has recently experienced rapid growth.
“The original purpose of my position within Ask4 was to help prepare the business for the continued rapid growth the company is seeing,” said Mr Bray.
“This has now been completed, allowing me to step into this new role, with a remit of ensuring that our network, systems and software development teams are effectively managed, to look at the processes in those areas and make sure they are fit for purpose.
“In addition, I’ll be overseeing some large scale projects to ensure that our products and services are in the best possible position to support the continued growth of the business.”
ASK4 has doubled its workforce over the last three years and the numbers of students using its high speed internet service has trebled to more than 100,000. The company is also expanding its other main areas of business, ASK4 Business and the ASK4 Data Centre, which is based in the Don Valley.
