A FESTIVAL held in Sheffield to promote new businesses has been hailed as a ‘fantastic event’ by council leader Julie Dore.
MADE was attended by some of the country’s leading entrepreneurs who have spoken about their experiences in the world of enterprise.
Events included a Business Breakfast debate, discussing the future of enterprise in Yorkshire.
Coun Dore said she was pleased to meet entrepreneurs from across the region to listen to their experiences and insight into boosting enterprise.
She said: “It is fantastic to have the MADE festival in Sheffield, it gives us the opportunity to meet and listen to so many entrepreneurs who talk with such passion about their businesses and creating jobs and growth in our economy.
“Some of the leading entrepreneurs in the country have come here to provide encouragement and support to young people in Sheffield.
“I believe this is really important as we wish to inspire young people to become the entrepreneurs of the future.”
