Derbyshire County Council’s countryside events 2014 booklet contains events across the county.

It covers everything from exploring aircraft wrecks on the moorlands to gentle rambles in the bluebell woods as well as fun for children.

Coun Andy Botham, deputy cabinet member for jobs, economy and transport, said: “We’ve lined up a fantastic programme of events, suitable for all ages and abilities, taking place across the county this year.

“Our beautiful countryside attracts thousands of visitors every year, boosting the local economy and creating employment.”
