THE Insurance Institute of Sheffield and the Chartered Insurance Institute have celebrated their joint centenary.
Speaking at a Chartered Insurance Institute annual conference, chief executive, Dr Alexander Scott, said: “One hundred years in existence is no mean feat. It is a great pleasure to recognise the anniversary of the Insurance Institute of Sheffield in the year that the CII also celebrates its centenary. The institute has proved itself to be an impressive presence and support to the local area.”
Amanda Blanc, chief executive of AXA Commercial, presented a silver salver to Insurance Institute of Sheffield president Tony Wood to mark the occasion.
The Chartered Insurance Institute has more than 60 local branches, providing career guidance and mentoring and organising seminars and training to help members meet their continuous professional development objectives.
