Traffic flows have returned to normal after faulty lights in Doncaster town centre were fixed.
Commuters faced lengthy journeys into and out of town over the last 48 hours due to faulty traffic lights on Market Road.
One Free Press reader said: “Yesterday it took me over an hour to get from Francis Street to the roundabout near the markets, and yet there was no real sign of what was causing it.
“This morning the situation looked be the same and I’ve had a walk down there at lunchtime and, if anything, it’s even worse.
“I don’t know if there’s a fault on the lights but something needs to be sorted. It’s causing traffic misery.”
A spokesman for Doncaster Council said this afternoon: “The traffic signal connection has been re-established and traffic flows have returned to normal. “
