Global business leaders gathered in Doncaster for a conference aimed at forging closer international trade links.
Business bosses shook hands and held talks with their Asian counterparts at Castle Park Rugby Club for the ‘Export – Achieving Success for Your Business’ event.
It included seminars, master classes and one-to-one meetings with chamber of commerce representatives from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the Philippines.
The conference was held to help small firms learn how export deals with companies abroad can help to boost business.
Doncaster firms taking part included Yorkshire Biotec, Hird Rail Services ltd, Ramsden International and the Topping Pie Company.
Dan Fell, deputy chief executive of Doncaster Chamber, said: “It is absolutely critical for the health of the UK economy and for local business growth that more firms begin exporting.
“We have some outstanding firms in Doncaster with real expertise in a range of industry sectors.”
