Knight Frank Sheffield partner Rebecca Schofield has been named the most active dealmaker in South and East Yorkshire in the annual EGi Deal Awards, organised by property industry publication Estates Gazette.

Award winners are decided as the result of an independent survey of commercial property transactions by Estates Gazette’s research team.

Rebecca Schofield said: “This is testament to another year of hard work by the team at the Sheffield office and recognises our extensive coverage across the South and East Yorkshire regions.”

Knight Frank successes during 2012 included the relocation of S2S Electronics from Sheffield to Dearne Valley and moves to Sheffield’s Parkwood Industrial Estate by Pipeworks Supplies’ and GB Eye. Within the city centre Knight Frank says the refurbished Fountain Precinct continued to be an attractive location, with Begbies Traynor joining a growing tenant list of professional companies that includes PKF, the Co-operative Bank, Wrigleys solicitors and Aon.

Meanwhile, a series of deals involving Thorncliffe Park Industrial Estate resulted in all the industrial accommodation on the popular business park being let by April this year.
