A BANK marked the re-opening of its refurbished Doncaster branch by bringing in one of the world’s best known football trophies.

Barclays borrowed the Barclays Premier League Trophy for the day and invited the public in to get their picture taken with the cup.

They also gave away items including balloons, at the event in their branch on High Street.

Seven-year-old Lewis Richardson was among those coming in to see the trophy.

Lewis, who plays football for Scawthorpe Scorpions junior team, said: “I hope I pick it up for real as a top footballer in 20 years’ time!”
