CSE Controls has clinched a significant contract from the Ministry of Defence.

The Eckington-based firm is to return a 125 tonne crane at Faslane naval base in Scotland to operational service.

The process will involve design work and numerous modifications to parts and systems for the crane on Faslane’s finger jetty.

CSE Controls lays claim to being the UK’s largest independent supplier of safety, protection and control systems.

The contract will involve key design and support staff at CSE Controls’ five UK offices.
