Company car risks

Two thirds of drivers take more risks when they are driving a company car, according to research by price comparison site uSwitch.

Eight out of ten are more likely to use a mobile phone in a company car than their own, seven out of ten are more likely to lane hop, six out of ten are more likely to jump the lights and half are more likely to speed.

With employers having to foot the bill for any repairs, drivers are also less likely to worry about the general wear and tear of their company car, says uSwitch.
