Sheffield’s Children’s Hospital Charity is among 70 charities across Britain that has won funding from Starbucks as part of its Christmas campaign.
The #NeighbourlyNoise campaign, in partnership with neighbourly.com, was developed to celebrate the causes close to the hearts of Starbucks store partners across the country.
Participating charities supported by Starbucks stores in 35 districts received funding of £500 or £1,000, depending on how much online noise was generated to raise awareness of their cause.
The three week campaign saw more than 4,500 tweets and 3,621 online mentions generated by local communities supporting their charities.
As the winner of its district, Sheffield Children’s Hospital Charity will be awarded £1,000.
