Sheffield College is seeking more business people to train as mentors as part of a Government-funded advice programme.
The College is training 500 mentors in the national Get Mentoring project, run by the Small Firms Enterprise Development Initiative.
Free courses are taking place in April and May, but individuals have to register their interest by emailing email@example.com by Saturday March 31.
Participants get a Certificate of Recognition and free membership of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, and will have to commit at least one hour a month to free mentoring and a continuous professional development plan during their first year.
The Get Mentoring scheme is seeking to train thousands of mentors from the small, medium and micro business community, who will then use their skills to help other businesses to survive and thrive.
