Clegg unveils manufacturing HQ in Rotherham

A major manufacturers’ organisation had had its new base in South Yorkshire unveiled by Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

Industry body EEF has moved in to a regional headquarters near to the advanced manufacturing park in Catcliffe, Rotherham.

Sheffield’s Master Cutler David Grey joined Mr Clegg in revealing a plaque made from city steel.

Mr Clegg, MP for Sheffield Hallam, said: “We are fast becoming the envy of the world when it comes to high value manufacturing. Extra support for local manufacturers has to be a good thing.”
