Sheffield Hallam University is to enjoy a high profile this week at Britain’s biggest skills and careers event.
Head of outreach and recruitment, Cathy Sinclair, will be at the Skills Show at the Birmingham NEC on Friday talking about the employment ‘X factor’.
She will be talking about transferable skills and how they can benefit youngsters who are not yet sure on what career path they may want to take.
The city will also be represented by Ben Eaton, who has a dream job working for the Mercedes GP Petronas Formula 1 Team.
He will talk about his career which has blossomed from taking up an apprenticeship in car painting to taking care of race aces Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg’s F1 cars for a living.
