Three legal apprentices from Sheffield firm Taylor&Emmet have been chosen to demonstrate the benefits of work-based learning in a law firm.

Sophie Clithero, Ryan Billups and Saskia Bex, pictured second left to right, are studying to gain a Chartered Institute of Legal Executives certificate for legal secretaries, with BPP Law School in Leeds.

Taylor&Emmet HR manager Hannah Sharpe, pictured left, said: “Entry into the legal sector is more commonly associated with academic achievement, but we want to demonstrate that bright, enthusiastic candidates can work as they train and still forge a successful career with a law firm.”We are very excited to be at the forefront of this innovative scheme.
