Its handmade chocolates have been a hit with well-heeled customers at Harrods and upmarket shops for more than a quarter of a century.
Now, after a significant increase in turnover, family-run Holdsworth Chocolates has moved to a larger factory in Bakewell and created seven jobs.
It spent £123,000, including a grant of £25,000 from Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership, on new premises and machinery at Deepdale Business Park.
The firm was established in 1988 by Barbara Holdsworth. Daughter Genevieve Sharples, pictured, said: “It was vital we relocated locally to ensure our existing employees could be retained.”
