A chef has teamed up with a Sheffield charity to provide food for the homeless and vulnerable.

Abdul Ghafoor, of Abdul’s, on Ecclesall Road, has donated 50 curry bags, each with a free meal voucher, to the Cathedral Archer Project after adopting it as his charity of the year.

Ruby Baker, of the Archer Project, said: “We will distribute these to people we work with including rough sleepers and the vulnerable, so they can go along to
Abdul’s in Sheffield, fill their bags and enjoy a hot, fresh made curry meal.”

Abdul said: “I’m delighted to be able to provide food which such a highly respected charity is able to use to benefit people in need.”
