Sheffield Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to help raise money for charity by supporting a unique cycling adventure.

The chamber’s chosen charity for the year, Sheffield Alcohol Support Service (SASS), is co-hosting a cycling event, La Squadra Acciaio Adventure, and it is encouraging members to get involved. ‘Acciaio’, which means steel in Italian, is the inspiration behind the cycling challenge set up and run by SASS and Nonna’s La Squadra, Sheffield’s premier cycle club, and teams of riders will take on Holme Moss in the Peak District on September 14, including Nick Cotton, above left, and Gian Bohan. Sheffield Chamber will co-host a ‘sign-up/networking’ event at Nonnas’ restaurant on Tuesday, July 1.
