Thirty scholarships are to be made available to young Sheffield entrepreneurs who are seeking to go on a city business course.
Two of the awards will pay the full £3,500 cost of tuition fees for the Creative Startups Sheffield programme, designed to teach and support talented students to start and grow new businesses.
The other 28 offer grants of £1,000 each for the 2015 course, run by Business Sheffield.
The School for Creative Startups Sheffield course is delivered at Sheffield College through a series of interactive, practical three-day boot camps and round-the-clock online support.
It aims to equip people with business know-how to turn their hobbies, freelance work and creative talents into viable companies.
