A Sheffield College course designed to help creative people start their own business has extended its application deadline to December 15 - and added more bursaries and scholarships.
The School for Creative Startups is designed to launch creative entrepreneurs with a series of three-day boot camps and 24-hour online support.
The aim is to help people turn their hobbies, freelance work and talents into a successful business.
The course is open to anyone over 17 at any phase, from an idea to a fully-fledged startup.
Now, thanks to a newly launched range of scholarships and bursaries, 30 aspiring creative entrepreneurs will receive financial help.
Two full scholarships, covering the £3,500 tuition fee, and 28 bursaries of £1,000 are up for grabs for the 2015 course.
Heather MacDonald, college chief executive, said: “From the moment this course was announced, the level of interest has been feverish. It is our remit to provide the platform to achieve their dreams.”
