A NEW call centre set up in Sheffield city centre creating 500 jobs has now opened for business.
The Sky Customer Contact Centre, based at Ventana House on Sheffield’s Digital Campus has now opened its telephone lines to customers.
Customer experience managers, customer experience leaders, trainers and coaches have all completed five weeks of training and were this week taking calls at the centre in Ventana House, at the Digital Campus, Sheaf Street.
The honour of taking the very first call went to Clare Taylor, a customer experience leader, who said: “I feel very proud to have taken the first call in Sheffield as I feel that this is a real milestone in the development of our centre. There’s been a real party atmosphere here today and we can’t wait to start.”
