JELD-WEN, the Sheffield-based door and window manufacturer, has supplied products for a prestigious eco-friendly house which forms part of the Ideal Home Show, for the second year running.

The Prince’s Arts and Crafts House is designed by the Prince’s Foundation for Building Community to incorporate sustainable and energy saving features, that highlight the benefits of “sustainable, eco-friendly living.” It incorporates Stormsure energy efficient plain casement windows that are made from timber from sustainable sources by Woodhouse Mill-based JELD-WEN.

The Prince’s Foundation built its first house at the Ideal Home Show last year, when 250,000 people passed through its doors.

Joanne Garside, from JELD-WEN, said: “We are delighted to be demonstrating products with such high environmental credentials,and which are are produced here in the UK.”
