A business improvement firm has experienced a boost of its own after revenues doubled following relocation.
Brook Corporate Developments hit £600,000 turnover 12 months after it moved into Barnsley Business & Innovation Centre.
The consultancy put itself through a growth accelerator exercise and accessed the Enterprising Barnsley business support scheme so it was better placed to advise clients on how both work.
In the past year it has also expanded its range of advice and services and worked with regional and national funding agencies.
Brook is also working with Barnsley College under its apprenticeship scheme, recruiting Monika Mazurkiewicz as an office assistant, just over 12 months after her arrival in the UK from Poland.
Dianne Bentley, office manager said: “We are pleased to welcome Monika, who has already proven to be an asset, since joining Brook on an apprenticeship scheme.”
Meanwhile, Deborah Manning is the new business development manager.
