Nine new tenants in the nine months to November was just the Christmas present staff at Aizlewood’s Mill business centre had asked for.

Manager Cath Beatty said: “We haven’t had a waiting list since the recession hit, now we are almost at capacity with a waiting list on some unit sizes. We really believe the economy is on the up.”

Back in April, promotions company Anything But Cattle chose the Mill after visiting 14 other locations. In the same month, Archaeological Research Services arrived.

Co-founder Will Dunwell said: “Me and my business partner Craig live on opposite sides of the city, so a central location was ideal for us. We looked at over 20 offices before we came here and fell in love with the mill; it’s fabulous and the customer support has been second to none.”

Over the summer, five new tenants signed up: Vision for Education, a supply teaching agency, TSA Advet who develop software for document management systems in blue chip companies & SMEs and the Yorkshire Co-op Resource Centre.

Branding By Tonik, formerly Printing.com on Arundel Gate, was joined by Live Softworks who develop cloud based software.

Finally, Koda Digital Media, a web development company, and Faraday Scientific took leases.
