PUPILS from five Sheffield secondaries organised a day in which they competed in a business and enterprise simulation challenge.
Silverdale, Bradfield, Birley, Fir Vale and Firth Park brought nine teams from all age groups to the Sim Venture challenge at Sheffield Hallam University.
The event was designed to help pupils develop their skills and knowledge of the various aspects of setting up and running a small business.
The winning school has the most profitable and stable business venture at the end of the game.
Teams also have to complete a business report and give a five-minute presentation to a panel of external judges.
Six pupils organised this year’s event with help from Hallam students who are taking business degrees.
