Bus services are running up to two hours late due to today’s roadworks on St George’s Bridge.
First South Yorkshire Yorkshire say all its services have been affected by the traffic problems.
A statement said: “Due to the start of the works on St Georges bridge, we are experiencing delays on all services of between one and two hours. The situation is being compounded by road users blocking, particularly, the junction of the interchange exit and Trafford Way. At this time, we are operating north side services out of the rear of the interchange. We are reviewing our options regarding all other services. The delays have caused curtailment to some services and may continue to do so.
“Doncaster Council have been contacted for assistance with temporary signs in an attempt to keep junctions clear.”
