Residents in Crookes have been left without water today after a main burst.
Yorkshire Water engineers were called to the area this morning following a call from a customer and discovered a pipe had burst on Commonside.
A Yorkshire Water spokesman said: “We received a call from a customer in the Crookes area of Sheffield this morning reporting a loss of water supply.
“Upon further inspection, we discovered a burst on our water main in the local area and our team on site is now looking to repair the affected pipe.
“Bottled water will be delivered to customers while our repairs are carried out and we’d like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
