Businesses’ love affair with the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield shows no sign of abating after 26 companies signed up to a new business club to help fund £1.9 million of renovations to the historic venue.
Media, financial, legal and leisure companies have all donated £400 and raised more than £10,000 towards the essential work
The Lyceum Theatre Business Club launched earlier this year as part of a campaign to raise £1,933,000.
Dan Bates, Sheffield Theatres’ chief executive said: “We are delighted with the fantastic response to the campaign from the local business community.
“I’m thrilled that many of our existing corporate partners, contractors and suppliers are extending their support to this project, and that we’re welcoming a number of businesses who are partnering with us for the first time. This level of support reflects how well-loved the Lyceum Theatre is and how vital its contribution is to the city’s cultural economy.”
Membership of The Lyceum Theatre Business Club lasts for 12 months and companies can still sign up to join. Call Jessica O’Neill, corporate partnerships officer, on 0114 2013868 or email email@example.com.
