HIT: Squeaky Green solid shampoo, £5.25, Lush

beaut miss... Clinique High Impact mascara

beaut miss... Clinique High Impact mascara

This is one of the best products I’ve ever bought. It’s ideal for travelling as thee’s no liquid spillage risk. Not only does it leave my tresses silky and curly, but it provides great relief on mozzie bites too (I discovered this purely by accident!) It lasts about six months on my long hair.

MISS: Clinique High Lengths Mascara, £16, Debenhams

I’ve tried a few Clinique mascaras over the years and have never been impressed. The most recent fail was their High Lengths version, which promised lovely long lashes. But it left my lashes looking stiff and cloggy - not quite the Audrey Hepburn look I was going for. More like Morticia Adams.
