Yorkshire Bank is to continue its sponsorship of South Yorkshire International Trade Forum, the independent membership organisation that supports exporters and importers throughout the region.

The Forum, which was founded in 2005, runs an annual programme of networking events and workshops and acts as a link between public and private sector organisations providing international trade services.

Other main Forum sponsors are law firm, Irwin Mitchell, accountants, Barber Harrison & Platt and freight management company 512 (Sheffield).

Steve Tweedle, senior partner at Yorkshire Bank South Yorkshire FSC and an SYITF board member, says: “Given the UK Government’s push for an export-led economic recovery, we are pleased to be supporting this important local business forum once again.”

Forum chairman, William Beckett of William Beckett Plastics, said: “We are grateful for Yorkshire Bank South Yorkshire FSC’s support during the last four years and are delighted it has agreed to continue its sponsorship.”
