Twenty two employees of Sheffield wire and fencing manufacturer Betafence have been honoured for their long service to the company at a special awards event.

The employees, who have all worked at Betafence for either 25 or 40 years, each received a gift and a certificate at the dinner and presentation at the Cutlers Hall.

Betafence UK General Manager Kevin Steers said: “This was a very special occasion and an opportunity to thank each employee individually for their long and loyal service to the company.”

Betafence, the UK’s leading wire manufacturer, lays claim to being unique in using only British steel in products made at its factory on Shepcote Lane which employs 275 people and where wire products have been made for more than 75 years.
