Rotherham has unveiled plans to offer a comprehensive array of services in a bid to attract more foreign firms to move to the town.

The new Soft Landings Zone project, backed by the European Union, wil help businesses to grow in global markets.

Services will include fully equipped modern office facilities available on flexible terms, with full reception and administration support.

The project will be run by Rotherham Investment and Development Office whose business development manager, Tim O’Connell, said: “This project is an exciting opportunity, not only for overseas companies to use the Rotherham area as their home when they consider the UK as a location for their business, but also, through links with UKTI and other international trade organisations, to help local companies exploit potential export opportunities.”

n The hunt is on for the leading small or medium-sized enterprise in the Sheffield region.
